Storms and sprinklers...

Just heard the latest on these storms...Hanna has made a NNW turn and the forecasters still say she's only going to 'kiss' the coast...I guess we'll see...
Ike is hot on Hanna's heels and if she stalls out again, he could catch her and combine with her...in my opinion....too much overload for the most part...I can only watch it occasionally and will flip it on or hop over to the NOAA hurricane site and check it out several times a day.  The news makes me insane with how they first hype it up and now as she gets closer and is acting odd, they are downplaying her possibility of hitting us.  In my mind, until she's well north or east of the Florida coast, I'm staying on guard.

For the dumbest thing I've seen in a very long time award....the news showed several yards down south of us (one of the areas where there is so much heavy flooding)...running their SPRINKLER systems!!!  The county has actually made a public announcement asking them to please turn off their automated systems because they are flooding the ditches with runoff!!  All the rain and these boobs are still watering their lawns...PLLLEEEAASSEE...are their brains that waterlogged?  Or maybe sunbaked?  Standing water all over the place and these morons are running sprinklers...
